More than beautiful accommodation, Bedford is different from anything else out there.
Stay in period luxury bedrooms, dating back to 1750 and 1830, when Balbriggan was a very prosperous horsery manufacturing town, known all over the world by the quality of it. They were so fine and beautiful, that among their customers were the Empress of Austria, the Czarina and Queen Victoria.
We welcome everybody, therefore, we also have modern pod accommodation with bedrooms to share with friends, colleagues or family.
Bedford is part of the Irish Institute of Music and Song in Balbriggan campus, where you can enjoy live music and being around musicians, writers and artists. The IIMS has state-of-the-art facilities including a 400 seat auditorium, The Lark, opening in March 2022.
Balbriggan, only 20 minutes’ drive from the airport, has one of the prettiest sandy beaches in Dublin and is surrounded by many unique places to visit, like Ardgillan Castle, Bremore Castle, and a few kilometers away, Newgrange (the best known Irish tomb dated to 3,200 B.C.) and Newbridge House and Farm.
